What are the data lines made?
General formal data line consists of 3 parts, from the outside to the inside are: insulation, shielding network (layer), wire.
① Insulation cover
The data cable feels a little hard or a little soft, which actually refers to the feel of the insulation of the outer bread. At present, there are many types of data lines on the market, but the material of the insulation is nothing more than three types: PVC, TPE, nylon weaving.
PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride)
This is a commonly used material, cheap, strength, flame retardant and other properties are also better. If the insulation of some kind of data line is hard to touch, it is made of PVC.
      TPE
The scientific name is 1,1,2,2-tetrastyrene. It is a soft rubber material. It feels much softer than the insulation made of PVC. It has greatly improved its elasticity and toughness. It can also be recycled. It is more environmentally friendly and widely popular. The original data line produced by the manufacturer is mostly made of TPE material. Of course, the price is also more expensive.
Nylon
But even the TPE data line, after a long time will still appear the phenomenon of skin, this time you need more wear-resistant materials.
Nylon is originally made of clothes, extremely wear-resistant, and nylon is used in many places that are easy to wear, such as socks.
Therefore, the wear resistance of nylon braided insulation is simply a dimension reduction blow compared with PVC and TPE. However, nylon is prone to creep, dimensional instability, and relatively poor flame retardancy.
② Shielding net (layer)
The insulation of the data line is stripped, and there is a layer of metal braid, which is the shielding net. There is also a layer of metal shielding layer below, mostly aluminum foil. What are they?
In the history of physics, there is a very famous "Faraday cage experiment": Faraday locked himself in a metal cage, and the lightning with such a thick arm outside came to him, but it was all blocked by the metal cage. He watched the scenery leisurely in the cage., Not affected at all, this is the phenomenon of electromagnetic shielding.
Similarly, the shielding net (layer) made of metal in the data line can cover the external electromagnetic field so that it does not affect the internal; at the same time, it also shields the magnetic field generated by the internal current of the data line to avoid affecting other components outside.
③ Wire
The two functions of the data line core, one is charging and the other is data transmission.
The power cord is used for charging. Generally, high-quality power cords will use copper core, tinned copper, silver-plated copper core and other materials.
The data transmission line does not require load current, so it is relatively thin.
In addition, some data lines that support high current will increase two power lines and add a number of ground wires. A data line basically contains these types of wires.
