Android line, Apple line... Why do you need so many data lines?

Author:

When you go out, your phone has no electricity, and you go to great pains to borrow a data cable, only to find that it is not compatible with your phone... This kind of despair must only be known to those who have experienced it.
Science and technology are so developed, why people haven't unified the data line into a style?

Appearance has doorway
The big difference between mobile phone data lines is the appearance. Appearance with more professional words, called the interface interface. In addition to the three interfaces we commonly use (Micro USB and USB-C commonly used by Apple's Lightning and Android phones), there are USB-B, mini USB and Dock interfaces that have hardly been seen by USB-A and "post -00" and "post -10.

Various mobile device interfaces
However, all kinds of USB and Apple's Dock and Lightning are only a small part of the interfaces of many electronic products. Due to different functions and usage scenarios, the appearance of data lines is also strange.
For example, RJ45 and RJ11 used to connect network cables; DVI, VGA, HDMI for video transmission; RCA lotus head, XLR cannon head and TRS connector for audio transmission (our commonly used 3.5mm earphone interface is a TRS connector).

A wide variety of data lines and adapters
Whether it is audio, video, file, or network signals, they are essentially a string of electronic signals, and the data line is nothing more than a few cables used to transmit electrical signals. So, why not use the same appearance of the interface to complete these functions?
The main factor that determines the appearance is the mechanical strength and service life of these data lines, which is what we often call the knot is not strong, firm, and durable.
For example, there will be a small tongue on the plug of the network cable, which can be stuck in the jack, and the general shaking cannot make the network cable fall off.

RJ45 crystal head commonly used in network cable
This is because the network cable does not need to be plugged and unplugged frequently, but it is required to be strong enough. Imagine what a maddening scene it is when you are enjoying a play chasing idol, or when you are playing a game with a friend "opening the black", when the thread suddenly loosens and the net breaks.
Since there is no need for frequent plugging and unplugging, the number of plugging and unplugging required by the RJ45 crystal head commonly used on the network cable only needs to be more than 750 times during design. If the crystal head of your network cable is broken after exceeding this number, it is not a product quality problem.
Compared with the network cable, it is more exaggerated to belong to the VGA cable, that's right! It is the kind of video cable that requires two bolts to be screwed at a time, which is troublesome and laborious to use. Old-fashioned monitors, notebooks and projectors have this interface.
